Vanessa DeGourville
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Vanessa is a compassionate and dedicated human services leader with over 17 years of experience as a licensed foster parent and private contractor. Throughout her career, she has provided trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and steadfast advocacy for more than 160 at-risk youth and families across diverse backgrounds.Driven by a lifelong passion for community and healing, Vanessa founded Changing Tomorrow Today to provide a specialized, empowering residential space for young women. In addition to her extensive hands-on experience, she holds a solid academic foundation in criminal justice and human services, professional credentials in life coaching, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling to further deepen the clinical, trauma-responsive care built into the fabric of the center.

Mark DeGourville

Mark is the co-founder of Changing Tomorrow Today, driven by a heartfelt passion for helping young people discover their potential, overcome challenges, and build healthy, fulfilling futures. As a devoted father of four, Mark understands the importance of encouragement, stability, guidance, and having someone who believes in you. While his professional background is outside the foster care system, his commitment to supporting youth comes from a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. Mark also brings 30 years of dedicated service with the United States Postal Service, where he demonstrated the value of hard work, dependability, perseverance, and service to others. Through Changing Tomorrow Today, Mark is committed to being part of a village that helps young people feel supported, empowered, and prepared for what comes next.
